The Flap Steak is a family favorite and is often the butcher’s secret cut of beef (because we like to keep it for ourselves). It is similar to flank steak or skirt steak because it’s best marinated and cooked on high, dry heat. When prepared the Flap Steak has a delicious meaty flavor and fine texture. Marinate it or grill it with simple ingredients. Stir-fry with broccoli or make an amazing beef stew.

This cut comes from a bottom sirloin butt-cut of beef and is generally a very thin cut of meat.

Basic Info: USDA Inspected. Prime 100% Grass-fed and 100% Grass-finished. Angus X.  21-28 days Dry-Aged. 

Naturally bred, and raised completely free-range foraging on Kauai's pristine tropical grass pastures. Beef respectfully raised without any hormones, stimulants, antibiotics, or GMO grains. Product ships frozen and will arrive frozen or partially thawed.

Vacuum sealed to preserve freshness and protect meat from freezer burn. Keep frozen until ready to use – can be frozen for up to 18 months. Product Andrade’s Slaughterhouse and Cattle Co. Kaua’i, Hawaii, USA.

We hand cut your beef orders each Monday after the beef has been Dry-Aged for 28 days.  All orders will be packed for Shipping off-island, Local delivery, or Pick-up on Mondays.

Best for Tacos!

We are so happy to now buy our beef from Rancher's Daughter's Reserve! We have tried several cuts and love them all. We really like using the flap for steak tacos!

Full of flavor.

The Rancher's Daughters beef is great. It is so full of flaver. My favorite is the flap steak but everything is delicious. She obviously cares about her product and knows what she is doing. Such a delight!
